My golden's fur — gone from the couch
Golden retriever who sheds like it is his job. First session and the pile of undercoat that came off was shocking — that is fur that used to live on my couch. A week in and the difference around the house is night and day.

Got the mats out painlessly
My long-haired cat gets nasty mats behind her ears and HATES grooming. The dematting side worked through them without pulling, and she sat through it instead of running. The rounded teeth make a real difference.

Husky blowing coat? This is the answer
If you have a double-coated breed you know coat-blowing season. This pulls out the loose undercoat in handfuls and keeps the fur tumbleweeds under control. Reaches the dense underlayer my old slicker never touched.

Doesn't pull — my dog stopped running away
My old tool yanked at my dog's skin and he would bolt the second he saw it. The rounded edges on this one glide through without pulling. He sits calmly for the whole session now.

One brush for all three pets
Two dogs and a cat, all different coats. Expected to need different tools — but this works on all of them. Double-coated shepherd, short-haired terrier, long-haired cat. The dual heads cover everything.

Skipped a $90 grooming appointment
Used to pay about $90 for a deshedding treatment every few weeks. Did it at home in 10 minutes with this and the result was just as good — sleek, shiny, mat-free. Paid for itself in one session.

Works on my horse too
Bought it for the dogs but tried it on my horse's mane and tail — works great for tangles and loose hair there too. Genuinely a multi-animal tool. Tough enough for a horse, gentle enough for the dogs.

Great — just go slow on big mats
4 stars. Works really well, but heads up: on severe tight mats go slow and gentle in short strokes — do not try to rip through them. For really bad matting near the skin a groomer is still safer. For everyday deshedding it is excellent.
